Help Kenny García Saavedra Illness Medical Bills

My name is Carmen Saavedra, I am Kenny’s mother, Kenny is a 47 years old, a veteran of the Army Airborne Division, he is a loving father and son. Kenny was diagnosed with multiple myeloma on November 2020, since December 2020, Kenny has not been able to work due to the side effects of various Chemotherapy he has undergone. He has been blessed by being treated at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL by Dr. Baz and by Dr. Ochoa Bayona, an expert in the field of Blood and Marrow Transplant. After many months of Chemotherapy Dr. Ochoa confirmed that Kenny was a candidate for an autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT).

Since August 13, 2021, Kenny started the ASCT process at Moffitt, it’s a lengthy and physically deteriorating process he is undergoing. Kenny and his family are hopeful and trust that God is beside him and will allow a successful ASCT. We are all looking forward to the months ahead where he will eventually be able to enjoy with the people he loves most and love him immensely. His 23 yr. old daughter Lindsay, his 20 yr. old son Aaron, me his mother, his aunt’s Lourdes, Elsa (Enchy), his uncle Carlos, his many cousins Eddie, Vanessa, Michelle, Nishma, Richy, Eunice, Carlitos, Cristina and his beloved friends!

We have created this Go Fund Me on behalf of Kenneth García Saavedra (Kenny) since his medical insurance will pay a percentage of what is reasonable and customary for this procedure. Unfortunately, this procedure is not covered by Moffitt’s financial assistance program. We estimate we need to raise $165,000 to assist with kenny’s medical bills.
