Help Kelsey and her parents

Hi My name is Dyane, and I am really good friends with Thais and Davi,

I have watched them fight everyday for this little miracle Kelsey. We have prayed, cried and laughed together and now more than ever they need your help.

Kelsey was born on June 3rd, 2021.

Kelsey's parents Thais and Davi have dreamt about the day of becoming parents. It took them 13 years, of lots of prayers and tears for this miracle to happen God knows the perfect timing for everything. During this pregnancy, Kelsey's parents found out that they would be parents to a little princess that would be born with Down syndrome. I'll never forget the day they received this diagnosis it didn't matter all they cared about was that they were about to be parents.

Kelsey was also born with AVSD which is a heart defect, she had surgery for this on September 14th, 2021 and ever since then so much has happened:

▪ From this major surgery which was over 8 hours long, they also found out she has a lung disease which they didn't know about

▪ Kelsey has been unable to eat and only be on IV

▪ Due to this surgery, her body has been retaining fluids and has caused it to compromise her heart

▪ Her kidney is failing due to all the fluids in her body

▪ She's also fighting against pneumonia

Kelsey was born at CHEO hospital in Ottawa and has never left from the day she was born. Her mother was unable to work to be by her side so she was never alone. Kelsey's father Davi has been trying to work while worrying about his daughter. Today CHEO and Toronto Sick Kids hospital have decided that Kelsey has a serious condition and needed to be flown to Sick kids. As much as we want to say everything will be okay the road to recovery will belong. Davi Kelsey's father the only method of income will have to stop working to be able to be in Toronto to be with Kelsey and his wife Thais during this difficult time, so they can take turns with her. Thais and Davi are Brasilian born and have lived here for the last couple of years, they are an amazing couple who hard work they have no family members here but us their friends.

At this moment Ronald McDonald's housing is currently full, because of this they will need to be spending money on housing and food, hospital parking, gas to travel back and forth to the hospital.

If you can any little amount will help and go a long way, to help this family that had to leave everything to be here with their daughter.
