Help Kellie Fight Cancer!

January 22, 2021 Kellie was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which shortly after was confirmed to be cancer. Grade IV Glioblastoma, a very aggressive brain tumor. Surgery was the next step and went successfully. After weeks of recovery from surgery, Kellie is now receiving radiation and chemo treatments 5 days a week, travelling from Guelph to Hamilton. As well as speech therapy weekly.
There is much uncertainty ahead with Kellie's treatment yet she has a strong will and is staying positive. This alone shows her courage not only for herself but for her family.

These last couple months have turned Kellie's life upside down and has been quite an emotional roller-coaster for the people close to her. Kellie's daughter has put her career on hold and has taken the roll of full time in-home care as well as getting her to all of her appointments. 

If you know Kellie, you know she would give you the shoes off her feet or the coat off her back. This is the time Kellie needs her family and friends support most. 

This account was created in order to provide some financial relief to Kellie as she undergoes treatments. 100% of funds received will go towards gas, home care, mobility care, and other basic needs. Ontario disability barely provides enough to survive off of. Anything you can donate is hugely appreciated. Any small amount matters.

UPDATE;

When we first spoke to Kellie about all of the donations that were coming in,  she was overwhelmed, tearful and touched by everyone's generosity and support. The whole family is very humbled by everyone's support.
The amount of well wishes and positive thoughts sent her way is more than anything we could have imagined.

All of your donations will ensure that Kellie will not have to worry about essential needs as she continues to fight hard throughout this journey. We created this gofundme with low expectations, not wanting to burden friends and family. Due to everyone's generosity, we have not only reached but exceeded the initial goal within 48Hrs!
