We are getting so close! We currently need $3,500 more!!

I am the attorney for Mr. Wiktorowski and have been named the account beneficiary. This way all funds go to my Attorney Trust Account to be held and paid for the redemption of his home. My services are donated.

Please help spread the word so we can reach our goal and keep Mr. Wiktorowski in his home!

I thought it would be fun to share some old photos of Mr. Wiktorowski. One I'm sure is an old school staff photo and probably how many of his students and co-workers remember him. Please donate if you haven't already and please share with family and friends. Every little bit adds up quickly!

I want to thank everyone for the support thus far and bring everyone up to date. With the success of the GoFundMe to date, as well as personal funds that Mr. Wiktorowski has available, and the proceeds of other fundraisers and private donations the remaining balance needed is only $7,500! This is very doable and we would like to reach that goal by April 30th to allow enough time to withdraw the funds and complete the redemption process. Please donate if you can and help share the story. Thank you

Richard Wiktorowski, retired Bendle High School librarian, needs your help to stay in his home.

A librarian at Bendle High School from 1966 to 1988, Mr. Wiktorowski is well-remembered by Bendle alumni. Now at 80 years old, he cares for his disabled sister and a godson with special needs whom both live with him.

Mr. Wiktorowski had a severe illness which caused him to have an extended stay in a nursing home. While in the nursing home, there was no one to attend to his finances which caused the property taxes on his home to go unpaid. As a result, his home was sold to an investor during a sheriff’s sale.

He has until May 7, 2019 to raise the money needed to pay off the back taxes and fees so he can keep his home. The goal is to raise $35,000 so he can regain ownership of the property and can stay in his home with his sister and godson. Once the funds are raised, financial guidance will be provided to ensure they are able to stay in the home long term.
