Hi, my name is Autumn and I am raising funds for my family's small philanthropic restaurant as what feels like years of unforeseen tragedies and circumstances for both owners Cierra (my sister) and her partner Chaz (my brother-in-law).

These two created the concept with our family friend Julie in 2015; the 3 of them saw their world on fire in 2016 -- and chose to open a business dedicated to giving back meals to those who need it most. Not only did they want to give back to folks who may be struggling with food insecurity -- but to the community that supports them.

Our beloved owners are finally on the healing side of a 6.5 month battle with the USPS who illegally turned into their vehicle; while they were on their way home from work with dinner. I was waiting for them two blocks away from the scene of the accident... I witnessed with my own eyes the amount of damage to both vehicles -- but more importantly my family's main and only working vehicle at the time completely totaled due to a reckless distracted driver.

For years, Conscious Eatery has been a hub of delicious, healthy, and sustainable food in our community. It’s not just a place to eat; it’s a place where friendships are forged and memories are made.

Now, more than ever, we need your help. We’re asking for donations to cover the costs of keeping the restaurant running while our kitchen guru is on the road to recovery from a spinal fusion due to the accident.
