Help Katy with her medical expenses.

Hey everyone, my name is Lauren and I’m fundraising for my best friend Katy McDonald. In May of 2022, Katy was diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic malignant melanoma. She started immunotherapy treatments and only has a couple of treatments left to complete a full year and help prevent a recurrence. Praise Jesus she was told in December that she was in remission, no evidence of disease!! Katy continued to work while going through treatments and surgeries. However, in February she unexpectedly lost her job and her insurance, and the company knew she was still undergoing cancer treatments. When she inquired about her insurance they told her she could get COBRA, but everyone knows how expensive that is, especially if you have no income coming in. Thankfully she has found a new job, but she was without pay for 6 weeks. Her new job does offer insurance but she is not eligible for 3 months. So trying to pay an exorbitant amount for insurance for an extra 3 months, and not having income for over a month, her medical bills are piling up. If you know Katy, you know she would do anything for anybody. So I’m asking y’all to please help her.
