Help Kane Fight Cancer Again

Hi everyone,

My name is Katelyn, and I’m fundraising for my best friend and lifelong companion, Kane — my 10-year-old American Pitbull with a heart as big as his boxy head. Kane is the kindest, most loyal, and gentle soul you could ever meet. Everyone who meets him instantly falls in love with his big personality and that goofy, loving grin.

Unfortunately, Kane is once again facing a tough battle. He needs testing for possible skin cancer, as well as testing on his liver, spleen, and lungs to determine if the cancer has spread. This isn’t his first time fighting this disease — but if there’s one thing I know about Kane, it’s that he’s strong, brave, and full of life.

Despite his age, you’d never guess he’s almost 11. He’s still playful, spry, and brings so much light to everyone around him. Kane has been with me since the day he was born — I was 18 at the time — and he’s been my rock and lifeline through every chapter of my adult life. I can’t imagine mine without him.

I’m trying to raise $4,500 to cover his testing, treatment, and follow-up care. Any amount, no matter how small, will help tremendously and bring us one step closer to giving Kane the chance he deserves.
