Help Johnathan purchase a much needed van

On May 30, 2020, my heart was crushed when I received the tragic news that my son, Johnathan Tate had been shot in the back of the head 3 times, while attending a block party. This caused him to have a stroke and severe brain injury. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, but thank God, this was not true. He survived this tragedy after many extensive head surgeries and is paralyzed on one side. As a victim of senseless gun violence, Johnathan has had to make some life changing adjustments. He however, is learning to walk and talk again as well as other life survival skills. He is a beloved father who deeply care for his 1 year old daughter and his 7 month old son. I humbly plead for your help in assisting him during this difficult time as he faces unimaginable financial burdens. All proceeds will go directly towards the purchase of a van equipped for his needs and well being. This van will enable trips to doctor and therapy appointments more comfortable as he will be able to get in and out with ease. Any money raised will be used specifically toward travel, as keeping appointments is an essential part of the recovery process. I invite all family, friends and others to please support his cause.
