Help Joel keep on truckin'!

When I think of Joel, I think of growing food. You may have seen Joel around town in his little red truck...

 

Starting thousands of plants at the Westside Greenhouse,

Making compost at the Grow Hope Urban Farm,

Providing experiential learning opportunities for kids in elementary school through college, or

Building gardens with the residents of the 12th & Peeples transitional community.

Joel has been working towards food justice in Chattanooga since I met him a decade ago, tending to our community's most basic needs.

 

Joel's little red truck was recently totaled :(

He needs his wheels to carry on the vital work of tending to the food needs of our community and his newly started passion project of restoring a 100yr old sailboat.
