Help Joe with adopting Brooklyn

My name is Joe Verdugo and Here's my story.
I am a married father of five who deeply loves his family, I work hard to provide for my children in order to give them a happy life in a safe environment.
Brooklyn who is one of my five children is actually my step daughter. Brooklyn is almost 10 years old and I have always loved and raised her as my own child since she was about 6 months old.
I am currently in the process of trying to adopt Brooklyn, to legally make her my daughter.
Unfortunately her biological father who has been absent all of her life has hired a high priced lawyer to represent him and this matter is now going to discovery and then to trial since I petitioned to terminate his parental rights .
After paying thousands and thousands in legal cost , I am putting my pride aside to ask for some financial assistance with the increasingly high legal costs on this case.
I cant put a price on the importance of this matter to my family and will do whatever it takes to fight for Brooklyn.
I would never keep another parent or man away from his child, but this person had countless opportunities to be in Brooklyn's life. He has willfully neglected and abandoned her and is a bad person with a long history filled of child protective service incidents and a criminal history filled with years of domestic violence on countless women and most recently served time in prison for felony child endangerment.
My top priority is to keep Brooklyn safe where she can continue to be raised in a safe and loving home
