Hi everyone,

My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year now, and we’re working hard to build a better future — we just need a little help getting started.

He’s 21 and has been working long hours in kitchen and janitorial shifts ever since he moved from Ohio to Virginia to start a new life. Without a car, he’s been relying on Uber and Lyft every day just to get to work and back. It’s been tough, especially after one of his roommates had to move back home to Ohio, leaving him to handle extra expenses on his own.

I’m 40 and still living with my parents, who are really eager for me to be able to move out and start my next chapter too. We’ve both been doing everything we can to stay motivated and positive, and we’ve started a small online reselling business together — something we truly believe could grow into something stable for both of us.
