Help Jeri Reunite with Her Beloved Dogs After Tragic Loss

Hi, my name is Dawn Savela, and I’ve created this GoFundMe page to help my sister, Jeri Collier, during one of the most challenging times of her life.

On December 31, 2024, Jeri’s world was turned upside down when her husband, Tom, unexpectedly passed away. They were in the middle of building a new chapter together-one that included relocating to Brainerd, MN. But now, Jeri is left grieving her soulmate while facing overwhelming obstacles on her own.

One of the hardest parts of this tragedy following Tom’s passing is that Jeri is separated from her two dogs, Cooper and Sasha, who were in Tom’s care before his passing. The apartment she’s living in doesn’t allow pets and she can’t afford the lease buyout on her own to afford moving to a pet-friendly home. Jeri has been navigating immense heartbreak, isolated from her beloved companions who could bring her so much comfort and healing.

This page is my way of reaching out to anyone who might want to offer kindness and support to Jeri during this difficult time.
