Dear Friends of Jeff Wolf in Friendship, NY and beyond:
We are organizing this campaign on behalf of the Wolf family and with the approval of his wife Dee Wolf.
Jeff has been part of the town of Friendship for many years, touched many lives, and made many friends either through his hardware / BBQ business, his coaching of the FCS modified/varsity baseball team, and his volunteerism through committees like the Friendship Free Library board.
Now is our turn to return the favor and help the Wolf family. Your generosity will go a long way in supporting them during this tough time.

Message from Dee Wolf:
What we know:
Jeff Wolf has been diagnosed with Stage IV Prostate Cancer with Bone Metastasis. Most of the metastatic lesions are in his spine and hip causing spinal stenosis.
Jeff is undergoing chemotherapy and hormone therapy. The Wolf family was unbelievably blessed to get a grant for some of the treatment through the Patient Advocate Foundation. Unfortunately, it only covers the medication and does not cover doctor’s charges, surgeon's fees, procedures, specialized testing, or the Mediport that was implanted to provide easy administration of medication. Although Jeff has Medicare, this covers only 80% of costs and the remaining 20% is taken out of pocket.
What is to come:
Jeff will be engaging in radiation therapy focused on shrinking the metastatic lesions. He will continue chemotherapy for the next several weeks to fight the aggressive cancer and will be continuing hormone treatment to prevent any further growth of the prostate. Additionally, Jeff will have major surgery in early December 2019 on his spine because of two tumors in his spinal cord. This procedure will hopefully ensure his continued mobility.
Jeff and Dee own the well known Friendship Hardware & BBQ; that they on their own manage. In this challenging time of attending appointments and procedures, opening the business has been very difficult; in turn creating significant problems in maintaining an income from the business for medical fees.
