Help Jason Rebuild His Life

Hi Everyone,

I’m starting this gofundme page for my dear friend, Jason, who just lost his entire home in the Napa/Sonoma fires. He and many of our friends were together on October 8th having dinner and drinks, and once we wrapped up for the night, he went home to find his house surrounded by two fires. For the past two days, we have done everything we could to keep communication with him despite his lack of power and cell service.

Throughout the day, he was told by police and firefighters that he and his neighbors would be warned with plenty of time when evacuation seemed necessary. When word finally came, there was no time; it was a matter of escape. As he fled his home, the street was already on fire and there was little time to grab anything. Fortunately, he and his kitty are okay. Jason has lost everything in this devastating fire as have so many others.

We are just trying to help him restart his life. Anything you can donate will help. We are currently arranging a place for his kitty to stay temporarily while Jason begins to find a place to live and deal with the effects of this fire. Jason is an amazing friend and person. He is always lending an ear to listen to your troubles and find the bright side of any situation. We are hoping this money can help him stay positive and help as he rebuilds his life from the ground up.
