Hi folks! I have started this fundraiser to help our friend Jason French. As many of you know, Jason developed some heart issues and will be having a bypass surgery tomorrow. He will need our help for once! If you know Jason, he will give you the shirt off his back if you need it. Now it's our turn to help our brother. Here is Jason's last Facebook post while he was being transported to Dallas.

June 28, 1998

I moved to Durant, OK from Longtown on Lake Eufaula. I didn't know a soul. Right away, I met a gentleman by the name of Randy Norman who has turned out to be a lifelong friend. I needed a job and heard the cable company Communicomm was hiring. Kinda nervous about not knowing anything about it, I took a chance! They hired me right on the spot. I have 2 brothers and a sister back home who I love and cherish. Not knowing the guys who took me under their wing would be brothers in a different way! Randy Stephens, Albert Martin, Steven Weibling, Donnie Portman, Eric Jones, Keith Story, Jeff Beck, David Stewart, Tina Kidman, Jim Barkowski, Corey Bailey, Jeff Taylor, Carl Latta, Sterling Johnson, Brian Taylor, Jason Travis, Christopher Sullivan. I know there are so many others who have gone on to cable paradise and bigger and better things. Over the last 27 years, we have worked countless hours late at night, weekends, and holidays. I love each and every one of you guys! Best group of guys in the world, hands down! I know there are so many who I left out, but you guys mean a lot too!!

I'll be taking a short break from it for a while, but I'll be back better and stronger than before!

To everyone who has become my friend and the customers I've become acquainted with, y'all mean a lot to me as well. Durant has become home, but I do miss all my family back up north!! Love y'all so much!!!

Please keep me and my wife, Rachel Miller French, in your prayers in the coming days! I'll be getting a little poke on my heart.
