Help Janet O'Brien build a bridge in Rwanda

No, really! Her employer has selected Janet to be the Deputy Communications Lead in an effort organized by Bridges to Prosperity to construct a bridge in Nyanza, Rwanda! The Mwogo River over which this bridge will be built floods in the rainy season, creating hazardous conditions requiring villagers to ford the river to cross it. This bridge will give villagers year-round access to markets and the hospital and provide the children access to their school during this challenging season.

The soul-searching is complete; our friend is doing this. The flight is purchased. And I know I speak for all of us when I say we are PROUD of her. Now comes the part in which we can help. Janet's employer will pay for various expenses for the mission, but not all. Between the round-trip flight, PPE and gear, first-and-last night hotel in Kigali, food, travel Visa, and required vaccinations, she is facing expenses upwards of $5,000. The trip is from October 2-16, 2022.

Janet is a giver. Janet is always doing for others. And this project is yet another example of her willingness to help. Let's show Janet (JayNay, Blair Bear, Jan) how much we love and respect her for accepting this challenge. No amount is too small - donate what you can.
