Cry for Help – Hurricane Melissa Relief

Hurricane Melissa has devastated several parts of Jamaica, leaving many families without homes, food, or basic necessities.

My dear friend Lahoma Dixon and I, Nicolette Christie, both born and raised in Jamaica and friends for over 17 years, have decided to partner together to help our island in this difficult time.

As a Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager at MHW, it breaks my heart to see so many families displaced and struggling. Lahoma, a Nurse Practitioner, will be shipping donated supplies directly to Jamaica to ensure they reach those in need.

We are collecting:

Clothes

Canned or non-perishable food

Hygiene supplies

Flashlights & batteries

If you’re unable to donate items, monetary donations are also welcomed and will go toward purchasing essentials.
