Hello, my name is Erika, and I am Morgan's Mom. Her dog, Ivy, is in need of another surgery for a torn ACL. Six months ago, she paid roughly $5000 for her first surgery on her left leg. Now her right one is also torn. The vet said that surgery is the only option. Morgan is a full-time student, and she also works full time. Unfortunately, Morgan used all of her savings on the first surgery and does not have the funds to pay for another one. The Doctor said Ivy isn't eligible for any other surgeries or healing remedies except for the TPLO surgery due to her higher than common angle on her knee. We are hoping that you wonderful people will be willing to help out by donating funds for her surgery!

Ivy came to us as a stray that Morgan came across on her way home one night about seven years ago. Someone had dumped her, which was evident in how skinny she was. She had obviously been on her own for a while. She was not afraid of Morgan however and jumped right in her car. Morgan brought her home and we posted on Facebook asking if anyone knew who she belonged to. We already had three dogs and planned on taking her to WAIF if no one claimed her over the weekend. However, Ivy had other ideas and made us fall in love with her in short order! There was no way we could take her to a shelter after spending time with her. She loves people and is one of the sweetest dogs we have owned! She only wants to love on her people and be with us.
