Hi, My name is Matt, and I am Isaac's uncle. As many of you know, Isaac has had a remarkable journey so far in life, having beaten Leukemia twice, once when he was 3 and again when he was 10. Well, his journey continues. Last Thursday, July 28th, he was told he has a brain tumor and will need to undergo surgery and various treatments.

Right now, we are taking it day by day. Isaac, the fighter he is, is in great spirits and has accepted that this is his moment and is ready for the challenge. The hopes and dreams for our family are to have a successful surgery on Thursday and help Kim, Adam, and his brother Adam take a leave of absence from work to help care for Isaac and accompany him on his journey.

From there, he will undergo six weeks of radiation, five days a week, to shrink what's left after surgery. Sometime after, there will be a family retreat to Wrightwood at a family cabin where Isaac has spent many wonderful childhood moments.

Since we are living moment to moment, we can't plan that far out, but one place Isaac has always talked about visiting was Egypt. He loves learning about their deep roots in philosophy and spirituality, and we hope to get him there sometime soon.
