Help Iris get a Service Dog
Donation protected
Iris is 4-years old, she was born with a gene mutation SCN1A and at age 8 months diagnosed with Dravet, which is a catastrophic form of Epilesy.
Dravet syndrome include:
Prolonged seizures
Frequent seizures
Behavioral and developmental delays
Movement and balance issues
Orthopedic conditions
Delayed language and speech issues
Growth and nutrition issues
Sleeping difficulties
Chronic infections
Sensory integration disorders
Dysautonomia, or disruptions of the autonomic nervous system which can lead to difficulty regulating body temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, and other issues
We are needing to get Iris a therapy puppy, we are looking into buying a puppy and taking it to get offically trained for therapy and detecting Iris' seizures. We are asking. Iris' seizures have increased and our now every other day. They are causing her to miss out on being able to play with her brother and sister. If we could get a puppy it would help us to feel more at ease and let Iris be a little kid instead of a little prisoner in one room 24/7.
I can not express how much we would apperciate a donation or a share. We are trying to find the best solution for Iris and make her feel like she is typical 4- year old.
Thank you and God Bless.
