Help Immigrant Women Dina & Natasha
Donation protected
Hello. I am a nurse & an advocate for human rights & had been traveling from Austin, Tx to the immigrant encampment in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico (across from Brownsville,Tx in the Rio Grande Valley) for about 2 years to volunteer helping our immigrant sisters & brothers at the encampment. I met Dina Elizabeth & Natasha there ~last December of 2019. They are 2 immigrant women from El Salvador & Honduras who had been living at the encampment for many months. I have been housing them in an apartment in Matamoros & help is now needed for their rent, food, electricity & some medical expenses. Dina is immuno-compromised & has numerous monthly medication/medical needs. Natasha, a transwoman, had suffered physical assaults while living at the encampment. Also, due to this pandemic, they are both extremely vulnerable to this virus. This was a main reason for getting an apartment for them - to keep them safe & to treat them with compassion. I recently had to move them to another place due to landlord discrimination against Natasha. Your giving to this cause is a lifeline for these two wonderful women. They would be deeply grateful for your help! Let us find it in our hearts to show Dina & Natasha that they are loved & not forgotten! Let us support our LGBTQ community. I am deeply grateful for your help towards my friends. Gracias!
