Spende geschützt
I’m a proud first-generation college student from Atlanta, Georgia., currently entering my final year at Howard University. I’m majoring in Biology on the Pre-Med track, with aspirations of becoming a pediatric surgeon dedicated to transforming maternal and child health outcomes in underserved communities.
Attending Howard has been a dream, but it hasn’t come without challenges. As a student leader on campus, I work every day to advocate for students like me: students facing housing insecurity, working multiple jobs, and carrying the weight of generational sacrifice just to earn a degree.
Despite my leadership, research, and community service, I’ve hit a financial wall. I currently have an outstanding balance that, if not resolved by July 31st, will be sent to collections, effectively halting my journey and delaying my graduation.
I’ve applied to multiple scholarships (many of which are still under review), and I’ve reached out to every possible avenue for support. But at this point, I’m humbly asking for help.
Whether you donate $5 or $50, your contribution is an investment in my future — and in the future of the countless families I hope to serve as a physician and advocate.
I have come too far, worked too hard, and poured too much into my community to stop here. If you’ve ever believed in the power of education, please consider helping me keep my dream alive.
Thank you for your love, your support, and for walking with me as I fight to finish what I started.
With love and gratitude,
Imani Evans
