Hi, my name is Anna Kulyk. Born and raised in Mariupol, Ukraine, I feel immense pain for my native city being completely destroyed. But more devastating is what happened to the lives of Mariupol residents. My frailing parents, relatives and friends have been living through the unimaginable horrors of war. Illia Kulik, my nephew, was able to escape with his wife Natalia and a three-year-old son Timur days before his house was destroyed by an airstrike (my grandmother's house, which I have fond memories of). They have received the Canada Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel and are planning their journey to a new life from Riga to Toronto. With an open heart we ask to please help Illia and his family start over in Canada. If you have the opportunity to help - any assistance will be invaluable.
