Help Ian Keep His Family Afloat During a Tough Time

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for your support for our friend and former coworker, Ian Dunn, who’s going through one of the most difficult times of his life.

At the start of this year, Ian was unexpectedly laid off from his job—in a career where he poured in 30 years’ worth of dedication, creativity, and heart. Since February, he’s been actively job searching and doing everything he can to land his next role in Sales Enablement, Instructional Design, BI Analysis, or Marketing. But despite all his efforts, the right opportunity hasn’t come yet—and the clock is ticking.

He’s down to just one month left of mortgage coverage. He recently had to make the incredibly hard call to let his debtors know he can’t make payments. And perhaps hardest of all, he’s now facing the possibility of pulling his young daughter out of daycare—a place where she’s made friends and feels safe and happy—because they simply can’t afford it.

For the first time in his working life, Ian applied for unemployment. It barely covers groceries. But he’s not giving up. He continues to lead with hope, humility, and a deep belief in the value he brings to every team he’s part of.

I’ve seen firsthand the kind of person Ian is: kind, talented, dependable, and always the first to step up and help others. Now, I want to help return the favor.

This GoFundMe is to help cover Ian and his family’s basic expenses—mortgage, food, daycare—while he continues the search for a new job. Every dollar raised will go directly to him and his family to help them stay afloat during this challenging time.

If you’re able to give, thank you. If you can share this with your network, thank you. And if you know of any open roles that fit his experience, please reach out. Your support—of any kind—means the world.

Let’s help Ian keep going, and show him he’s not alone.
