My name is Inas, and I am reaching out with a desperate plea for help on behalf of my family.

Before the war, we lived a simple and peaceful life in Gaza. My husband and I were raising our children—Abud (13), Raseel (8), and Muhammad (7)—in a home filled with love, safety, and dreams for the future. Everything we worked for has now been taken from us.

Since the war began, our lives have been shattered. We have lost our home, our sense of security, and the basic necessities that every family needs to survive. My children have witnessed terrifying scenes that no child should ever have to see. They have lived through bombings, destruction, fear, and displacement. The sounds of explosions have become part of their daily lives, and the trauma they carry is something no child should endure.

We were forced to flee multiple times, carrying only what we could hold in our hands. Today, we are living in a tent under extremely difficult conditions. We struggle every day to find enough food to eat, clean water to drink, and basic supplies to survive. Some days, we do not know how we will provide the next meal for our children. The prices of food and essential items have become impossible for us to afford, while opportunities to earn an income no longer exist.

The tent we are living in provides little protection from the heat, cold, rain, and constant fear surrounding us. We are trying to rebuild some sense of stability and dignity for our children, but without support, even the smallest necessities feel out of reach.

Our children deserve a chance to feel safe again. They deserve food, education, medical care, and hope for a future beyond war and displacement. Right now, we are simply trying to survive each day and create a place that feels like home again after losing everything.
