“LET’S DIG DEEP AND HELP HOPE WITH HER REHABILITATION “
On the 18th July 2019, Hope was born. Her mother carried her for her full 9 months term. Unfortunately she encounter some difficulties during labour with no gynaecologist obstetrician on duty, they couldn’t perform a Caesarian on her, as the midwife aren’t qualified to do so.
Due to this incident, Hope was born with a severe perinatal asphyxia with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy of grade 3.
Because she was born asphyxiated it has resulted with a severe cerebral palsy, with an uncontrolled seizures and she also have a 14mm cyst in her brain right side deep temporal lobe.
Hope is now 2 years old, with no ability to sit, talk and walk like a normal child would. Due to Hope condition her mother is her full time carer, and the dad the only sole provider for the family.
Unfortunately since COVID has hit, the dad isn’t getting enough work being in the tourism industry working as handyman and can barely afford Hope ongoing medical treatment such as her twice weekly speech and physio therapy and medication.
The money raise will be of great help so the parent can purchase her cerebral palsy chair with back and neck support, her soft night splints for her both lower limbs, her twice weekly speech and physio therapy and medication
Every little bit of help will be greatly appreciated so let’s dig deep and help Hope to have a better future. Like the doctor said if she keep having speech and occupational therapy at an early age she have a great chance to be on her feet and we won’t loose that hope. That’s why we name her “Hope”.
The Boncoeur and Jaune families would like to thanks everyone for helping their little princess to have a brighter future.
