Help Herrera family

I am Jaqueline, Jose Herrera’s sister. Our family is mourning the loss of Son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. Jose was a taken from us on February 6, 2022. Jose was at home with my mother and siblings when he heard an argument outside in the parking lot. He went outside to see, upon seeing a kid being attacked by an adult male he stepped in to help. When my brother tried to intervene and help the kid. The adult male shot my brother in the chest, heart and he fell to the floor. My sister called 911, however help/paramedics took 30 minutes to get there, which Jose had bled out and passed. My brother wasn't the type of person to allow this type of harassments and decided to stop it, a decision that cost him his life. My brother passed away in my younger brothers arms next to my mom and younger sister. Jose was a kind person who cared a lot about his family, especially my mother. My mother was his queen and now we mourn his passing, a passing where we didn't get to say our good byes. However, he expressed his love for our family and asked his mother be taken care of.  We are seeking the help of those who can, to help ease the financial expenses from this tragic accident.  On behalf of my family Id like to thank all those who could please help share this.  Thank You.
