Heather had to have emergency surgery on 10/21. She woke up in excruciating pain and, after many tests, discovered she had a perforated stomach ulcer. This is an emergency situation. Surgery went well, but the recovery has been slow and painful, as expected. She is projected to be inpatient at the hospital for about 5 days. She will then need to be off work for at least 4 weeks.

Heather is such a wonderful mom, wife, friend, and nurse who cares for everyone around her! She has dedicated her life to her family and career. It’s time we take care of her and her family in this time of need!

These funds will go to supplementing income during time off and paying for hospital bills.
