Help Heather and Family with recovery

Hi All,
my name is Tegan and I’m creating this GoFundMe to hopefully help out a lifelong friend, Heather, with recovery after a terrible accident on the 22 April 2021.
Heather, was driving from her home in Maroubra, Sydney to her mum’s property north of Newcastle to drop off her son to spend the weekend with grandma, and so she could spend the weekend studying and submit some assessments for her online University distance learning for a Graduate Diploma in Psychology.
During the drive her car blew a tire, veered off the road and hit a low rock wall which then resulted in her car flipping several times.
Heather was in the car with her 3 year old son (Vincent) who fortunately didn’t have any injuries except being banged and scratched up.
Heather is also 8 months pregnant and by some miracle the baby has been cleared by the doctors as healthy.
She has multiple broken fingers and her right hand was degloved. She has undergone initial cleanup surgery and started with skin grafting from her forearm for her fingers and her legs for her hand. The surgeons have advised she will not be able to use her right hand (her dominant hand) for 6 months.
she is due to give birth towards to end of May and whilst she has been very positive since the accident her ability to complete everyday tasks such as cooking, washing dishes, changing her newborns nappies, etc, will be impacted significantly. Heather has a very long road to recovery ahead of her; both mentally and physically.
Her car was also completely written off in the accident and unfortunately wasn’t insured. So along with trying to recover and care for herself, a new baby due to arrive in less than a month, and her 3yr old son who was also in the accident, and will need counseling for shock and trauma, she also now has no vehicle for the family to run around.
I’ve never used GoFundMe before and am not entirely sure that this platform will prove successful but I thought I at least could give it a shot as I live in Canberra and have no means to help her in Sydney as well as not having the financial means to help support her during this extremely difficult and challenging time.
I’m seeking donations to put towards counselling for her and her son, medical costs associated with her injuries, some assistance with funds involved in raising a newborn by possibly getting a part time carer for Heather and the baby while Vincent is at daycare, and a safe & reliable second hand car.
