Help Give Mr. Cow a Peaceful Farewell

Donation protected
Mr. Cow aka CowFace aka CowCow has been the most loyal, loving, silly, and best emotional support companion to my partner, Sarah, for 15 (almost 16) incredible years. From their favorite walks at Point Isabel (his happy place), his love of swimming, to his incessant need to be every person's friend and target for attention, Mr. Cow has filled our lives with pure joy.

Sadly, the time has come for us to make the most painful decision a pet owner faces. Mr. Cow has been battling cancer for the past few months, and despite all our love and efforts, his quality of life has severely declined, and the treatments/various medications are no longer working. To prevent further suffering, we have made the heartbreaking choice to schedule in-home euthanasia.

Mr. Cow has had a troubled past with car rides; they are an immense source of anxiety and stress for him ever since he was a puppy and was transported across the country during Sarah's move to California from North Carolina. That's why we decided to go with in-home euthanasia so that his final moments could be as stress-free and peaceful as possible, surrounded by his favorite toys, squishy spots, and his people. This is a comfort that both Sarah and Mr. Cow desperately need.

The costs for this difficult goodbye include the mobile veterinarian's service for in-home euthanasia and private cremation services. The total estimated cost is $1200. This includes:

In-Home Euthanasia for a dog over 70 lbs: $600

Private Cremation & Keepsake Urn for a dog over 70 lbs: $550

Mobile veterinarian's travel fee: $50

Any additional funds would go towards helping pay down the vet debt we've accumulated as well as go towards Sarah's bereavement leave as she is self-employed and cannot afford to take a day off work in order to grieve the loss.

We know times are tough for everyone, but any donation, no matter how small, would be an enormous gift that allows Sarah to focus on grieving and honoring Mr. Cow without the heavy burden of financial stress. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this campaign.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us give our sweet CowCow the peaceful, loving farewell he deserves.
