On November 9th, our dear friend Gigi and her daughters were the indirect victims of an act of arson in the apartment below theirs. Their apartment was completely destroyed while the firefighters were trying to get everyone out safely. The Red Cross temporarily provided them lodging, but that time has run out, and now they are left putting together the pieces while the investigation and repairs are ongoing.

A few days after the fire, they were involved in a car accident. Needless to say, this is a major unexpected financial burden, and it’s even more difficult at this time of the year. Gigi lives with her 2 daughters and 3-year-old grandson. With Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner, we want to help ease this burden and give them the opportunity to enjoy this holiday season together with some sense of peace. Every little bit helps and is immensely appreciated.
