Help Gabe go to camp this summer

I will maintain this page up for those who would like to donate and have not been able to yet.
I have been able to send my son to sleepaway camp for special needs for the last 3 years because of financial aid and this year I was informed that they will not be able to provide assistance because of the pandemic. I searched diligently to find another camp that would meet my son's needs and I located a camp in Pennsylvania, Camp Sequoia (read more about it here https://www.camp-sequoia.com/about/) which is an all boys camp, ages 7-17 with a focus on socialization. After reading the focus the camp has and how they have mental health professionals on site, as opposed to many free or cheap camps in NYC that will have high school student or early college students who do not have the level of training needed to manage a child with ADHD, I knew this camp would be a perfect fit.
After my son and I met with the director I was so pleased by the wide variety of activities they have and how well he engaged my son, I knew I had to send my son to this camp. After applying for financial aid as a single parent I had hope to have at least half the cost cut, but I was informed that the best they could do would be $1000 off of the $7,575 total, which also does not include me transporting my son from NYC to Pennsylvania both ways.
I wondered how I could make this happen without going into debt on credit cards and a friend from church suggested I start a gofund me page. So here I am. Any assitance you can give would be greatly appreciated to help me afford the tuition for sending my son to camp for 3 weeks this summer. Not only will you be helping Gabe get out of this apartment and out of the city to a camp where he can be free with other boys like him in nature that will meet his needs, but you will also be helping out this single mom get a break, who has struggled with a limited support system and has experienced a great deal of stress and anguish, particularly during this pandemic.

He podido enviar a mi hijo a un campamento para dormir para necesidades especiales durante los últimos 3 años debido a la ayuda financiera y este año me informaron que no podrán brindar asistencia debido a la pandemia. Busqué bastante para encontrar otro campamento que satisfaga las necesidades de mi hijo y encontré un campamento en Pensilvania, Camp Sequoia (lea más sobre esto aquí https://www.camp-sequoia.com/about/) que es un campamento para niños , de 7 a 17 años con un enfoque en la socialización. Después de leer el enfoque que tiene el campamento y cómo tienen profesionales de salud mental en el lugar, a diferencia de muchos campamentos gratuitos o baratos en la ciudad de Nueva York que tendrán estudiantes de secundaria o estudiantes universitarios tempranos que no tienen el nivel de capacitación necesario para manejar a un niño con problems del trastorno por déficit de atención e hiperactividad, sabía que este campamento seria perfecto para el.
Después de que mi hijo y yo nos reunimos con el director, Gabriel estaba entusiasmado con la variedad de actividades que tienen y lo bien que el director le hablo a mi hijo, supe que tenía que enviar a mi hijo a este campamento. Después de solicitar ayuda financiera como padre soltero, tenía la esperanza de tener al menos la mitad del recorte de costos, pero me informaron que lo mejor que podían hacer sería
