Black Men x Trans Women 'Bridging the gap' event!
Tax deductible
BMEN and The Transgender Emergency Fund have created a series, titled Bridging the Gap, that brings Transgender POC and straight men together in community to talk and gather more understanding, in hopes that this dialogue can be the foundation to making a difference in the trans communities lived experiences through awareness and understanding.

Trans Women deserve respect, healthy and safe communities, and to be heard and valued. BMEN Foundation and Transgender Emergency Fund Inc are leading the way in creating space for important conversations that allow for these values to be idealized.
The goal of this fundraiser is to support covering the cost of the second event in this series. COVID-19 has asked for us to be agile in how this event happens, and be imaginative about continuing these important conversations and shifting the culture. Donations will go towards the costs of hosting what is being planned as being outdoors, offering food, guided activities and ice-breakers and small group conversations. We would also like to document and film this event in order to share the impact of this kind of dialogue, with others.
