Help fund the Autumn edition: CLOSED
Donation protected
Since coronavirus hit, we have had to offer struggling businesses hugely discounted rates. The Hampstead Village Voice's advertising revenue has subsequently slumped to an all time low of around 30% of it's usual level. So if we are to publish an autumn edition in October 2020, we will need support from our readers.
The autumn edition will be important as we will be upping our campaign to remove the Hampstead Village Business Improvement District (BID) which extorts funds from struggling local businesses, charities, two state schools and an NHS surgery. There will be a ballot in 2021 and we need to get as many Hampstead 'hereditaments' onside as possible to vote the blasted thing out.
We also reveal that, scandalously, £94m of Section 106 affordable housing funds are, as yet, still unpaid by developers.
Needless to say we'll be kicking Camden's arse over our dreadfully poor refuse infrastructure and there's loads of other, splendid Hampsteady stuff.
Thank you for your support and viva Hampstonia!
