Due to the generosity of one of our most loyal donors,  the use of Gentle Reins Farm has been free leased to HorseFriends, which has helped us realize our greatest dream: having a farm entirely dedicated to our vision is to bring "joy and strength through horses" to everyone associated with us - volunteers, staff, board members, donors, etc. but with a primary mission of serving children and adults with disabilities.  Because of a very tight timeline, due to no fault of our own,  we have a list of needs at our new farm to ensure we continue to operate a high quality and safe therapeutic riding facility: 

    1) A new arena plus sand and labor
    2) Gravel for new parking lots
    3) Arena lighting
    4) Gates and Gate posts
    5) New run-ins
    6) Pasture fencing
    7) Picnic tables with umbrellas
    8) Miscellaneous farm supplies

We are reaching out to our community for support so we can continue offering PATH Certified therapeutic riding services for people in the Triad Area. 

This is also a great opportunity to become a formal sponsor of our program: 

     -$2,000 a year will sponsor a student for 1 year
     -$4,800/year or $400/mo. will sponsor a horse

Our sponsor levels include:
     -$200 donation = Bronze Sponsor
     -$500  donation = Silver Sponsor
     -$1,000 donation = Gold Sponsor
     -$2,000 donation = Platinum Sponsor (Your name/company will be placed on a plaque in our new bunk house)

Smaller, recurring donations are also extremely helpful, so please consider setting up a monthly donation in the $15 to $20 range using our PayPal account here . 
 
HorseFriends is in its 16th year and is a Christian ministry whose mission is "Sharing the blessings of Christ with our community, through equine programs that develop confidence, as well as physical and emotional strength, for our participants and volunteers." HorseFriends is a FREE Christian ministry, open to all individuals, regardless of their religious beliefs.
