Funds for a Black Trans RJ Facilitator!

Restorative Justice Coalition (www.restorativejusticecoalition.com) is requesting the community's assistance in funding the labor for a Black trans non-binary (pronouns are they/she), who has graciously stepped in to assist with a restorative justice process, involving harms in our own community. At the request of one of the party's involved, we have stepped away, something we have offered to do from the beginning, to make sure no community bias is involved in the process!
We were asked to find a facilitator, and we did just that! RJC, however, believes in paying for labor when it is possible, but ESPECIALLY for Black trans labor! Black trans femmes continue to face violence, oppression, and overt discrimination in all aspects of life, and community work is no different. The situation at hand is a highly sensitive situation, and very complex, so her labor is going to be emotionally and mentally taxing, on top of time consuming.
She said she felt $2,000 was fair, and we couldn't agree more. However, RJC is not a non-profit, and we have no stream of donations to cover that. She understands, and is not stopping the work because of that. But we could truly use your help in making sure we are able to not only live our values, but make sure the most marginalized among us in community work is cared for.
