Fruiggieland & the 1st Vegan Face & Craft Paint!

Donation protected
Greetings everyone!

My name is Tamika Albertini, and I am the founder of Fruiggie Eco Arts and Crafts, a New York based children's art company. Fruiggie offers mindfulness eco art programs, summercamp, all natural art supplies, vegan birthday party packages and vegan all natural face painting. We are currently raising funds for our vegan and eco friendly children entertainment center called FruiggieLand and the production of our 1st vegan all natural multi-purpose face and craft paint.

Fruiggie was created in 2013 as a result of me recognizing the absence of non-toxic all natural art supplies and a lack of fun wellness and sustainability education programs for children. As a children’s eco art teacher who is very passionate about art, wellness and children, my mission to fill this gap was very important for me. After launching, Fruiggie's programs became well known throughout NYC and the Tri-state area in schools, major festivals, events, local communities, online publications, and magazines. In 2013, Fruiggie was featured in Time Out New York Kids and Brokelyn online publication. In 2016, I create what’s known as the 1st children’s vegan multi-purpose face & craft paint. Fruiggie vegan paints were sold online, at major festivals, to face painters and to schools around the country. Our paints were also used at festivals, events, classes, workshops, and for face painting & Arts and Crafts. In 2017, we opened our first Fruiggie Eco Art Studio in Brooklyn, NY, where we offered eco art programs, birthday parties, events, and a children's art supply shop. That same year and again in 2018 Fruiggie was featured in New York Magazine and was awarded the Kids Who Bank Entrepreneurship Pillar of light Award. In 2018, Fruiggie art studio was closed due to a collapsed ceiling and major water damage in our studio. In 2017 & 2019, after experiencing such a traumatic closing of our studio, I was so happy that Fruiggie received an award from Red Tricycle's online publication for Unique Kids Classes and camps in NYC. Throughout the years Fruiggie also had the opportunity to partner with amazing companies such as Essence, Vegandale, NYC Veg Food Fest, New Jersey Vegfest, Black Vegfest, Habana Works, NYC charter schools, NYC DOE, The Embassy of Haiti, Curls (Hair Care Product company) and more.

In 2020 due to the Covid Pandemic, Fruiggie experienced a disruption in production for our vegan multi-purpose paint. The manufacturing company that produced our paints were hit hard by Covid and unfortunately experienced major hardships that affected 100% of the production and packaging of our paints. This unexpected halt in production affected about 75% of our business, as the paints were a bulk of the business and helped Fruiggie scale up in sales. The factory produced large quantities in a quick turnaround time, which kept Fruiggie’s online shop constantly stocked with paint kits and our customers happy with quick deliveries! I would love the opportunity to produce our paints again!

My goal within the next few years is to open FruiggieLand in NYC and welcome families to have fun while still keeping their health and the environment in mind. There is a lack of vegan food, snacks, drinks, eco conscious supplies, products, education, services and programs in children entertainment centers. Fruiggieland will create a fun entertainment space for children that offers healthier vegan food and eco conscious education. The facility will be open for school class trips, Birthday parties, events, and so much more! We also plan to create job opportunities for locals in the community!

Our vegan paint and eco friendly art supplies will be produced in the Fruiggieland facility as well. Our eco art supplies will be accessible in bulk for public and private schools, sold in stores nationally, internationally and online and accessible to eco conscious parents, artists and face painters.

Fruiggieland will consist of:
-An Eco Arcade & Game room
-Recycle & Healthy Eating Museum
-Vegan Cafe (serving vegan pizza, hot dogs, burgers and more)
-Birthday party rooms
-Party services and packages (on site vegan face painting, Balloon characters etc)
-Playspace

I look forward to your support and appreciate you taking the time to read about my new amazing project!

Thank you for the support!
Sending you all love!
