Pedro Eduardo Ruiz Porras is a loving husband to Maria and the father of two boys, 8-year-old Pedro and 1-year-old Eduardo, who has special needs. They moved to Brooklyn Center, MN from Nicaragua, leaving behind professional careers and Master's degrees, and have been working hard to give their children a beautiful life filled with love and hope in the U.S. Maria teaches in a Spanish immersion school in Roseville and Pedro works 6 days a week at Taco Bell. Their immigration and work status are fully legal in the United States.

Pedro was detained by ICE while driving to work on Tuesday, February 10. His family is working hard with their lawyer to obtain his release and defense, and will need help with their lawyers' fees. Please support this loving, hardworking family with a donation to their legal fund--any amount helps!
