Help for Rosemary, our local crossing guard

Rosemary has been the local crossing guard at Broadview & Wolfrey for 5 years. She is an important part of the Montcrest Community, ensuring school children and local residents cross the street safely during the busy hours.

Rosemary is a lovely woman who makes an effort to smile and talk to everyone she encounters. The children and residents alike adore her and I often overhear them say to her "hi Rosemary!", "have a nice day!", "how are you Rosemary?".  But lately, Rosemary hasn't been able to smile as much; she is going through a very difficult time in her life.  Her husband is dying of cancer. Not only is she occupied with trying to find hospice care for her husband , but she is very worried about her financial and living situation after he passes away. Her husband was paying the rent, while she was paying for the other household expenses. They don't have life insurance, and she will be on her own to cover all expenses.

Currently, Rosemary is overwhelmed trying to find ways to pay the rent, and eventually find affordable housing and steady work (in addition to her current job as a crossing guard) that will allow her to make ends meet in the future. I have reached out to the Montcrest  community and lot of people want to help her out. For this reason, I am asking for financial contributions. In addition, if you can help Rosemary find affordable housing or employment opportunities (evening work as a cleaner, warehouse worker, or doing data entry), it would be greatly appreciated.  

Your financial contributions will help provide Rosemary some financial security, and hopefully reduce some of her stress, during this very difficult time.
