Help for Mike, a homeless vet

Mike is a friend of mine who is an independent man, but has fallen on hard times.
Mike is a 16 year veteran of the Marine Corps. He has been working 2 jobs to catch up and it just keeps getting worse. Last year, he had a heart attack and triple bypass surgery, which meant no income while he was in the hospital and recovering. He then lost his apartment as he was trying to keep up with his medical expenses.
He was living in his truck with his two cats. He put most of his personal belongings in storage and then lost nearly everything when a nearby storage unit caught on fire.
Mike's truck died one day and as he was getting it repaired 1 cat ran away.
In late August, Mike got a bad case of pneumonia and spent 11 days in the VA in and out of ICU. His other cat was being cared for while he was hospitalized, but died. Mike was heart broken.
He got out of the hospital on September 5 and went to the bank to get money to pay his storage bill. When he came out his truck--his home and all his personal belongings--was gone.
During all of this, Mike has kept showing up everyday at both jobs. He has only missed when he was in the hospital. He is very independent and proud and has asked for no help or handouts. A coworker has lent him a vehicle for the short time. We are asking for help to get him a vehicle and housing. Any help will be welcomed. Thank you.
