I’m writing this on behalf of my beautiful friend and her three amazing children — four of the strongest people I know. Over the past few years, they’ve been through more than anyone should ever have to face, escaping a long and painful cycle of domestic violence and starting over again and again in search of safety and peace.

Because of ongoing safety concerns and a current Domestic Violence Order (DVO), I can’t share photos or personal details. They are under police protection, and their safety depends on maintaining privacy. But please trust me when I say that this family is real, their story is heartbreaking, and they need help right now.

This is not the first time she has had to move her family — each time leaving behind what little they’ve managed to rebuild, all in the name of staying safe. She’s doing everything she can to keep her children feeling loved, stable, and hopeful, even while starting from scratch yet again.

They’ve lost personal belongings, money, and important documents, and have faced theft and financial hardship along the way. Despite everything, she never gives up — she keeps showing up for her children with strength, grace, and determination that leaves me in awe.

The funds raised here will go toward:

Securing safe housing and covering moving costs

Replacing basic essentials for her and the children

Paying bills and daily living expenses as they settle again

Changing vehicle details and licence plates for safety and privacy

No one should have to live in fear. Every single donation — no matter the amount — will help give this family the chance to finally breathe, heal, and rebuild their lives without looking over their shoulder.
