Update on miss Braeleigh:
We got over to UVM and was told the blockage that Cvph told us about, (pretty much saying she needed surgery for it,) is only from her crying and sucking in air. She does have a uti and still getting tests done. They will be trying to do another Lumbar Puncture today to rule out meningitis. Her tube was taken out so she can breastfeed again, and right now she’s just hooked up to an iv. Praying we can figure out whatever is causing this fever, it’s still 100, going on day two. We are staying another night at least.
We are all extremely exhausted, but keeping our thoughts positive and praying for good news.
Another update on Brae:
We’ve been visited by a couple doctors, her pediatrician over here & the infectious disease doctor, they both gave us some news. She had a lumbar puncture done to get spinal fluid to check for meningitis ... this was the second attempt and they couldn’t get any fluid either time. With this being said we are treating her as if she has it, because she has unknown bacteria growing and flowing through her blood stream. She will be getting put under anesthesia and getting a picc line put in tomorrow, for her iv treatment. She’s not eating very well again, so unfortunately we will be here 10-21 days Please keep praying for our little girl and sending positive thoughts. My heart breaks for her
This gofund me is put together to Help Asya and David with any cost associated with baby Braeleigh illness. She has an older brother KC and sister Bentleigh who miss her so much !! Any help is very much appreciated!!
