Help for Baby Reina

My youngest brother, Woody, & the love of his life, Brittney, just welcomed their first child, Reina into this world on January 9th, 2018. The happiest moment of their lives! Unfortunately this joyous occasion was wrought with difficulties for little Reina. Her mom Brittney had a very long, difficult labor. Brittney ran a fever due to meconium in the amniotic fluid, which means baby Reina had a fever, too. Reina came into this world with a temperature of 103°, her umbilical cord wrapped twice around her little neck, & the threat of meconium aspiration.  Her dad Woody never had the chance to cut her umbilical cord, as the medical team had to quickly take action. Since this difficult birth Reina has suffered from various complications. She started seizing & her kidney functions faltered. Reina was sent to the neonatal intensive care unit.  Still she seized. Sometimes these episodes were only minutes apart. Reina had more seizures & stopped breathing. At one point she turned blue. The medical staff tried to rally to no avail. The decision was made to transfer her to Levine's Children's Hospital in Charlotte.  She is now showing signs of improvement & her vitals have thankfully stabilized. Now her parents are faced with an hour drive each way to visit her in addition to medical expenses that increase every day. Our family is hopeful for baby Reina's future! But we need help! The expense of her care in addition to the daily expenses of travel are quite overwhelming. Please, if you can, help. We appreciate any amount!
