Help for a family who are about to lose their home

I'm raising this money for my dear friends Leslie and Fabian and their sweet elderly sausage dog, Sadie, who have worked hard all their lives but are about to become homeless through no fault of their own.
A few weeks ago Fabian became injured at his job, which aggravated existing back problems. Now he needs crutches to walk, is in severe pain and needs immediate back surgery. A long recovery period will be necessary, and Fabian is ineligible for family medical leave. He will have to go on long-term disability, and even when he recovers there's no guarantee he will ever be medically cleared to do the same work again.
Leslie and Fabian's apartment is tied to his workplace, and so they won't be able to stay there much longer. Leslie works full time and they have supported themselves and their family their whole lives, but this was completely unexpected and their income is taking a hit due to medical bills.
They need to find a new home that's handicap-accessible and inexpensive and will have room for Sadie, their twelve-year-old dachshund mix. Sadie (pictured below) was once a service dog to their autistic son, who is now grown. Though retired, she has become Fabian's service dog, helping his depression and anxiety over his situation.
Leslie and Fabian are hoping to buy a trailer, and I want to help them out by starting this fundraiser so they can buy one or at least make a decent down payment on one. Any money will be used for the trailer and other moving expenses.
