Spende geschützt
I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this. But after deep reflection, I’m opening up with honesty and courage, because I know I can’t walk this path alone anymore.
I’m a first-generation woman student from a Denotified Community historically marginalized community in India, currently pursuing my postgraduate studies at the University of London. I carry with me the dreams and struggles of generations before me those who were denied access to education, opportunity, and dignity. Everything I’ve achieved so far has been built with relentless resilience, hard work, and unwavering hope.
Education has always been my only way forward. I’ve come this far without generational wealth or a safety net, relying solely on student loan and part-time jobs. But recently, I lost the part-time job that was helping me cover my basic living expenses. This unexpected financial loss has pushed me into a severe crisis physically, emotionally, and financially.
With looming academic deadlines and health challenges caused by stress and physical labor at jobs, I’m struggling to stay afloat. I don’t have the kind of social or financial network where I can turn to family or friends for help. That’s why I’m reaching out to the broader community with vulnerability and hope.
I’m not asking for much. Just a small breather enough to get through the next two months so I can focus on my exams, my research, and my health without having to worry about food, rent, or transportation. A amount of 2800 GBP will help me cover my basics like food, rent, transportation to Uni and field trips for my research work.
Your contribution no matter how small, will make a huge difference. It will give me space to breathe, to heal, and to continue walking this path not just for myself, but for the many girls like me who dare to dream beyond their circumstances.
If you’re unable to donate, even sharing this with someone who can would mean the world to me.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for believing in me.
