My name is Greg Sliwinski. I was born in Poland and immigrated to the United States when I was 15 to search for the American dream. I became a firefighter late in life with Kern County Fire Department at the age of 48. I have a wife, Annie, a 17-month-old boy named Mark, and 2 dogs. We have lived in our home in Altadena, CA since 2018.

We recently had a disastrous fire, the Eaton Fire. Our house and all of our personal belongings were lost in this terrible fire. Thankfully, we got out in time. Currently, we are without a home.

I am the last person to ask for any help, but this time is different. We need help to get through this difficult time. This money would help us relocate and settle into a temporary living situation while we navigate the next step.
