Help Fill Mama Maria's Food Pantry

Since the refugee crisis began unfolding in the Greek islands, hundreds of thousands of people have landed on Greek beaches in rafts, fleeing war zones and poverty, in search of a better, safer life for themselves and their families.

On the island of Samos, where thousands of refugees are currently housed in a camp, one local woman has been helping to feed hundreds of people at a time.

Thanks to her tireless efforts, she's earned the nickname "Mama Maria" by the people she's helped.

Our goal is to help her keep her food pantry stocked so she can continue cooking and providing food to thousands of people living in the refugee camp.
