Help Fight Back Anti-Abortion Protestors!

My friend and I were arrested on December 9th for counter-protesting. This was following an attempt by one of the anti-abortion protestors to harass two young female patients. We are both 19 years old and full-time students, YCPD was very biased and took the side of the anti-abortion protestors despite video footage displaying that there was no wrongdoing on our part. We received a citation and are supposed to appear in court to fight a misdemeanor charge for a public disturbance of an individual. We are asking for money for a legal defense fund in order to fight the charges and ensure we can continue to counter-protest and protect women from harassment. Update 1/8/21: The charges we face now are for “false imprisonment” when we were on a public sidewalk.
