Hi everyone! My name is Emma and I am hoping you can help me raise the funds to take a CIEE Global Entrepreneurship program in Shanghai, China.

I was lucky enough to be accepted into this entrepreneurship program in Shanghai, where I will spend three weeks in July learning about business, Chinese culture, and Mandarin Chinese. I will be with a number of other students in a classroom environment including when we explore the region together. This would be an amazing opportunity for me to learn more about a field I am interested in and to discover a city and country I have always wanted to visit. Shanghai is often described as the "Silicon Valley of the East" and as someone who takes an Advanced Technologies class, this is very impressive. Seeing how Shanghai strives to be a leader in the technology world drew me in to what the city has to offer.
Through the Olympia Snowe Women's Leadership Institute (https://www.snoweleadershipinstitute.org/), which I am a member of as an Olympia's Leader, I was able to get a scholarship for half of the tuition. So I still need to raise the funds for the other half, flight and visa expenses, and spending money.
The Costs
$2,500 - Tuition
$1,550 - Flights
$250 - Spending money
$200 - Visa and processing costs
$150 - Money lost by donors' credit card processing fees
The Payment Deadlines Are:
January 17th - $1,000 Tuition deposit
February (TBD) - $1,750 Airline ticket and visa
April 17th - $1,500 Tuition balance
Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated, no amount is too small! Thank you in advance for all your support.
