Hello, 
My name is Emily and I am here because it is my last resort. Today I found out my roommate hadn’t been keeping up with her portion of the rent in our apartment. My landlord is willing to evict her and let me remain as long as I can cover what she’s owed. This amounts to roughly $400 from December’s rent she never paid and $600 from this month January. She’s avoided me and our landlord. And now I am at the point where I may become homeless due to her negligence. On top of all of this I’ve also been dealing with a myriad of other issues that make it difficult for me to easily and quickly come up with the money to stay.
  
On December 17th myself and my coworkers were laid off from Saint Monday in Providence, and because of issues from the business itself the unemployment I was able to receive only amounts to roughly $70 a week, barely enough to survive. 

After this happened a leak sprung above my bed in my room in my apartment that would repeatedly pour into my room, and still hasn’t been fixed despite having multiple handymen come to fix it. Eventually it became so bad that it ruined my mattress from it pouring and while my landlord is covering damages, I’ve been without a mattress and a bedroom for 3 weeks now and still waiting for a check to replace the damages. 

Anything that can be donated is an amazing help. I just truly have reached the end of my limits and have no other options.
